Martin Bennett Johnson is an American multi-platinum singer-songwriter, record producer, and vocal producer. He is best known as the frontman of the pop rock band Boys Like Girls, though he has an independent career as songwriter and producer for various artists such as Taylor Swift, Hannah Montana, Hot Chelle Rae, and The Cab. Johnson is credited with having several RIAA-certified multi-platinum songs ("Two Is Better Than One" (sole writer), " Love Drunk", "The Great Escape," "You'll Always Find Your Way Back Home"). Songs he has written have sold over 10 million copies.[1]

Martin Johnson was born in Andover, MA on September 9, 1985. [2] Johnson attended high school at Andover High and graduated in 2004.Is now dating High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale since December 2011.
Before moving to Los Angeles, Johnson spent 5 years in Boys Like Girls as the singer and songwriter of the band. Once in Los Angeles, he began writing with other songwriters and artists, including Taylor Swift, Hot Chelle Rae, Kevin Rudolf, Rob Thomas, Matt Thiessen of Relient K, Benji Madden and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte, Kevin Griffin of Better Than Ezra, Kristian Bush of Sugarland, The Cab, Matt Squire,[3] John Feldmann, Toby Gad, Dave Hodges, and more.
In addition to writing all the songs on both Boys Like Girls albums (6 consecutive charting singles at Top 40), Johnson is credited with co-writing Taylor Swift's "If This Was A Movie," [4] which was released on her album Speak Now. The two also penned the lead single from the Hannah Montana Movie, "You'll Always Find Your Way Back Home."[5] Most recently, Johnson co-wrote The Cab's new single, "Bad," and Hot Chelle Rae's "Why Don't You Love Me (feat. Demi Lovato)." [6]
Johnson is currently working on upcoming records for The Used, Ariana Grande, Brandyn Burnette, Priscilla Renea, Ellie Goulding,[7] Mika, Priyanka Chopra, and more.
As well as songwriting, Johnson also sings lead vocals and plays guitar for the band Boys Like Girls. The four member band consisting of Johnson, DiGiovanni, Keefe, and Donahue was formed in Boston, MA, in 2005. Since releasing their debut album in 2005, the band has sold over a million albums and has accumulated over one hundred twenty million plays for their music on MySpace. [8]
